Sympoze now has an easy to use bookmarklet. Sympoze users can put it in their Web Browser bookmark toolbar. It enables Sympoze users to easily submit sites to Sympoze that they like. Philosophy bloggers can embed the code in their blog posts to enable easy submission of their blog posts.

In light of the rumblings about the APA (particular Velleman's criticisms) John Basl discusses that question we as philosophers should grapple with more.

I just updated Sympoze. Two VERY COOL improvements. First = When you submit a story that has already been submitted by a user, you're automatically taken the story page so you can vote on it. Second = All of the journal page URLs that our software wouldn't recognize. It recognizes them now.

John Basl has put together a list of philosophers using the micro-blogging service Twitter.

This blog post, motivated, I think, by some talk about the usefulness of philosophy over at richarddawkins.net, offers a definition and defense of philosophy. Probably not much you didn't already agree with but I like when philosophers defend the profession (especially from scientists).
