Pretty good advice. Though I found writing book reviews to be a waste of time. The time and effort of doing it properly is roughly equivalent to writing a proper research article, but you don't get the same "credit" for writing a book review. Ignore some of the more paranoid comments in the thread. There is no "Invisible College".
