Update

Last night we posted about Sympoze over at Leiter’s blog here. And we have had an enormously positive response in less than 24 hours. Thanks to everyone!

Here’s a quick update as to where things stand.

  • We’re in the process of putting together some more philosophers for the introduction to philosophy book. That will be our first test of the system
  • We’re in the process of working out an arrangement with a University Library/Publishing Office to be the archiver of Sympoze content. Details on that will be coming soon we hope.
  • We’re up to about 130 philosophy volunteers.
  • We have an outstanding philosophy advisory board. I’ll post that in a later post.
  • We have a more detailed plan for the structure of the research journal/book series. As soon as we hammer out a few more details, we’ll post everything.

Philosophers: Please volunteer to be a referee by filling out the form to the right. We’re hoping to turn on the system for philosophy by the end of this semester, but we need more philosophy volunteers. Sign up today, and spread the word!
